About Me

Hi there, I am Salini Vineeth. I am a fiction and freelance writer based in Bangalore. After working as an engineer for ten years, I quit my job in 2018 to embrace my long time passion for writing. Since then, I have published three books– Magic Square (Novella), Everyday People (Short story collection), and a travel guide for Hampi. Most of my stories depict the dilemmas of modern, urban life. I have a keen interest in history and archaeology. I am also an avid traveler and owns the travel website Pick,Pack,Go! I was born in Wayanad, a quaint hill station in Kerala. I finished the engineering from BITS Goa, and master’s from IIIT-Bangalore. I live in Bangalore with my husband and two-year-old daughter, Tara.
